Yeah loads of people at Amazon do. Lauren had to because she is reception. And almost every one in Retail has too. One of the biggest days of the year for them. They’re on the phone most of the day with vendors working to secure deal prices and quantities and stuff
The tech-side people mostly don’t work that day. Only on-call related work, generally.
It isn’t a corporate holiday. So anyone who doesn’t want to work that day has to use PTO
