It's certainly a complex, multi-faceted problem. Partly seems to be current income vs current prices and having trouble getting by, another is the lack of upward mobility across generations (the whole thing about people being okay not having it all, as long as they know their kids will have it better than they do), as well as the lack of trust in institutions/govt (the rich men north of Richmond). It's a lot to unpack 😅
